1. Copy update.zip to SDcard and
place it in /root
2. Turn off the device
3. Press and hold Home + Power
+Volume[+] buttons until it` boot
in recovery mode
4. Choose applay update from
SDcard
5. Select update.zip
6. Select reboot now
7. Reboot in normal mode
8. Check in Application, if Galaxy y is rooted then it should
be Superuser icon in there.
